New Growth

There were some very pleasing signs in the olive grove today. After having recently planted around 250 trees and then experiencing one of the hottest summers on record for Victoria, I was a little worried the trees may not survive.

Good news!  As you can see in the below picture, there is plenty of new growth on many of the trees.  This means their root systems have expanded beyond the original root ball of the pot and also absorbing nutrients within the soil.

We aren't out of the woods just yet, but I am certainly happy to report on the good news.
